Reaching Hotel

Travel time between the airport and Casa Cornelia is thirty to forty-five minutes depending on the time of day, traffic conditions, and toward the main road east in the direction of Porto-Novo - Nigerian border. This route crosses over the lagoon bridge through Cadjehoun industrial zone up to PK10 (kilometer point 10). The hotel happens to be off this highway; therefore, first-time visitors who do not know exactly where to turn may miss it. It is safer either with a transfer from the hotel or any trusted taxi driver within town since all taxis know Cornelia apart from those coming newly into Benin.

In case you are coming from Porto-Novo, it is just a short drive of about 20 minutes to the east. There are always minibuses and shared taxis plying this coastal road route of public transportation. Tell them to drop you at PK10 then “Zemidjan” (motorbike taxi) for the last few hundred meters up to the hotel gate which is common practice and well accepted even if carrying a backpack or small suitcase.
